Obtaining optimal mental health is important for achieving and maintaining one's overall health and well-being. At Reflections of Mental Health restoring your peace of mind is our top priority. For many generations suffering from mental illness has been stigmatized. Due to this, we provide a serene non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable to share your ailments and begin the journey to finding infinite bliss. 

I am a Board Certified General and Forensic Psychiatrist. I specialize in the treatment of depression, bipolar and anxiety disorders, psychosis, dual diagnosis (mental illness along with substance abuse), and legal aspects of mental health.

As a psychiatrist, I focus more on the accurate diagnosis and psychopharmacological treatment of mental health disorders; however, strongly believe that I cannot adequately treat an individual if I do not take the time to know them as a whole. Our past, present, family, school and work life has an impact on our mental health.

The initial evaluation will consist of a thorough evaluation of past, family, work, and current life stressors that contribute to one's inability to function. Each follow up session will consist of medication assessment as well as brief supportive psychotherapy. 

When an individual is exposed to trauma or significant life events, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My greatest passion is working with individuals who have been impacted by these events and helping them to rebuild their ideal self image. I find great pride in helping individuals achieve healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their interpersonal relationships.  

There is no single approach in helping individuals achieve their optimal mental aptitude. After completing my Masters of Physician Assistant from Keiser University, I worked in various areas of medicine but was always drawn to psychiatry.
